Photo: Beautorium: Natural & Organic Beauty Emporium

An online marketplace for the planet's premier collection of natural and organic beauty care, the beauty of Beautorium is its natural simplicity. It takes the guesswork out of hunting for the truly natural, truly organic, good-for-your-skin beauty ware so all that's left is the gathering. The beauty marketplace at large is saturated with "organic" products and it's hard to know what's real and if it works. Having done the homework, Beautorium has hand-picked and carefully screened each and every brand it offers to ensure consumers get the most out of a positively organic experience.

Why organic and natural beauty care?

Ann Francke and Barry King, the forces behind Beautorium, have forty combined years of industry experience; they know that taking good care of skin means knowing what you put on it.

In addition to viewing the summer program schedule, parents also can sign up for regular e-mail alerts. When registration opens later this month, participants also can sign up for programs online with a major credit card from any Internet-connected computer.

Macomb County woman brings skin care product to Nordstrom

The opening of the new Nordstrom at the Mall at Partridge Creek is sort of a homecoming for Joanne Recchia-Kallabat. She grew up in Clinton Township, moved away and now lives in Macomb Township.

Recchia-Kallabat's SkinOnyx is the U.S. distributor for Italy's Kleraderm skin care products, which will be available in the cosmetics section of the new Nordstrom.

"It feels like I brought Nordstrom with me," she said of her return.

Nordstrom at The Mall at Partridge Creek opens its doors at 10 a.m. Friday.

The only other U.S. store that carries Kleraderm is the Nordstrom in Troy's Somerset Collection, where they've earned a strong following over the past three years.

"Nordstrom calls them 'Kleranets' because they only want Kleraderm products," Recchia-Kallabat said.
